Lynn Billingham has been teaching yoga for over 12 years. Discovering the incredible life transforming benifits of a yoga practice, while she was working as a registered professional nurse; she became a yoga teacher through the Yoga Teacher Training Institue in 2003, teaching at her teacher's Northport Yoga Studio. She soon branched out and began to teach a yoga wellness program to the staff in her school district, an after school children's yoga program and also joyfully providing yoga classes at a local women's shelter. After moving to TN, in the foothills of the great Smoky Mountains in 2012, she began and continues to teach mindful yoga at National Fitness Center in Maryville. Over the past 2 years, Lynn studied Mindful Yoga and Meditation at Spirit Rock, in California taught by Anne Cushman, Janice Gates & Jill Sutterfield; receiving her 500 hour teachers training in Mindful Yoga and Meditation.
Now once again branching out to share the wonderful benefits which she continues to experience.
